The most useful blog topics for SEO come from questions your customers already ask. Start with your WhatsApp chats and phone calls, check how people phrase those questions in Google’s own suggestions and Search Console, then group the topics into hubs and spokes and publish on a steady, realistic calendar.

This article is part of our starter guide to SEO for small businesses in the UAE.

Start with customer questions

Your inbox is a keyword research tool you already own. Every question a customer asks is a question someone else is typing into Google.

Collect questions for two weeks from:

Write each question in the customer’s own words. “How long does a balayage last?” is a better topic than “Hair colour longevity”.

Then sort them:

Type Example Content
Before buying “What size cake for 20 people?” Helpful guide article
Comparing “Ceramic or porcelain tiles for a villa?” Comparison article
Ready to buy “Same-day cake delivery in Dubai” Service or product page, not a blog post
After buying “How do I store a fresh cream cake?” Short help article or FAQ

Ready-to-buy searches belong on your service pages. Blog posts suit the questions people ask earlier, while they are still deciding.

Using Google’s own suggestions

Google shows you how people search, for no cost:

Search in both English and Arabic, and from a UAE location, because suggestions vary by language and country. Note the exact words people use, such as “near me”, area names, or “price” versus “cost”.

Look at the pages that already rank. If the top results are all detailed guides, a 200-word post will struggle. If they are thin or out of date, you have an opportunity.

Search Console queries

If your site is connected to Google Search Console, it shows the actual searches where your pages appeared. Open the Performance report and look for:

Review this monthly. It is the clearest evidence of what Google already connects with your business.

Hubs and spokes

Random posts are hard to keep up and hard for search engines to understand. A hub-and-spoke structure groups them:

Choose two or three hubs that match your main services. One article per question keeps topics from competing with each other; if two ideas overlap, merge them or link between them.

Google’s guidance on creating helpful, reliable, people-first content asks whether content provides original information, reporting, research or analysis. Your own experience, photos and examples are what make an article worth reading.

A simple calendar

Consistency beats bursts. A realistic plan for a small team:

Month Publish
1 One hub article for your main service
2 Two spokes answering the most common questions
3 Two more spokes, plus updating the hub with links
4 onwards Two articles a month, and a seasonal piece before Ramadan, summer or National Day

Plan seasonal content six to eight weeks ahead, so it is indexed before people start searching.

Every few months, update older articles with new questions, prices you are happy to publish and fresh photos, rather than writing new posts on the same subject.

How Dub Ai helps

The Dub Ai team’s SEO and content service agrees topics with you based on what customers search for, then writes articles with an SEO title, meta description, clean URL and images, in English and Arabic. You can also ask your Dub Ai assistant to draft a post by message, preview it and reply CONFIRM to publish, as the Help Centre guide to blog posts and pages explains. The content creator agent prepares short articles and captions, and the FAQ builder turns your documents and recent conversations into approved questions and answers.

Frequently asked questions

How often should I publish?

For most small businesses, one or two well-researched articles a month is enough, as long as you keep going. Consistency over many months matters more than publishing many posts in one week. Spend part of your time updating older articles too, because an improved page can do more than a new one on the same topic.

Can AI write my blog posts?

AI can draft articles quickly, but a person who knows the business should check every fact, add real experience and examples, and approve the final version. Google’s guidance focuses on content made primarily for people, and warns against using automation mainly to manipulate rankings. Medical or legal articles should be reviewed by a qualified person.
